Apple Dapple Cake

    Preheat oven to 325°F and grease a 9x13 pan.

    Sift flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

    Mix oil and sugar until combined.

    Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla.

    Gradually add dry ingredients.

    Fold in apples and nuts.

  7. 7

    Pour into prepared pan and bake 45–50 minutes until done.

    For glaze, combine all glaze ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

    Boil and stir for one minute, then remove from heat.

    Pour glaze over warm cake.

    Cool before serving.
