Cream butter, Crisco, and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat egg and add to creamed mixture.

Add lemon juice and vinegar.

Sift flour, soda, and salt together; add to cream mixture and blend.

Put dough on floured tray.

Roll and cut it with cookie cutter.

Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350°F until brown around edges.

Note: If not using lemon flavoring, you may need to knead in a little more flour.
