
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream shortening, sugars, and vanilla.

Beat in egg and 1 tablespoon water.

Sift flour, soda, and salt; add to creamed mixture.

Stir in oats and chocolate chips.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 375°F for 10– 12 minutes.

Will makes about 3 1/2 to 4 dozen cookies.
