Mom's Chocolate Pie

Ingredients

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt.

    Add enough water to make a paste.

  3. 3

    Blend in lightly beaten egg yolks, then add remaining water.

    Add evaporated milk.

  5. 5

    Cook over low heat, stirring frequently until thick.

    Add butter and vanilla.

  7. 7

    Pour into a baked pie shell.

  8. 8

    Top with whipped cream, Cool Whip, or meringue.

    Cook time approximately 45 minutes.
