Lemon Pound Cake

Cream sugar, shortening, and margarine.

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift together flour, cornstarch, and baking powder.

Add flour mixture alternating with milk.

Add lemon extract.

Pour into greased and floured tube or bundt pan.

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour or until done.

Cool for 5 minutes and turn onto plate.

Mix glaze ingredients thoroughly and pour over hot cake.
