
GiGi’s Cracked Sugar Cookies

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Sift together flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes).

Beat in egg yolks and vanilla.
- 5
Gradually add flour mixture into four parts, beating well after each addition.

Shape dough into small balls and place 2 inches apart on baking sheet.

Do not flatten.

Bake for 10 minutes or until tops crack and edges are lightly golden.

Do not overcook.
