Bread Pudding

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

    Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.

    Mix sugar, eggs, and milk; add vanilla.

    Pour over cubed bread and let sit 5–10 minutes.

    Mix brown sugar, butter, and pecans, sprinkle over top.

    Bake 35–45 minutes until risen and set.

    Remove from oven.

    For the sauce: Combine sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla in saucepan over medium heat.

    Stir until sugar is melted.

  10. 10

    Add brandy and stir well; cook off alcohol if desired.

    Serve warm or cold over bread pudding.
