Momma’s Cowboy Stew

Ingredients

Directions

    Brown/sear meat on high heat in oil.

    Add onions and sauté for 3 minutes.

  3. 3

    Mix in flour and cook for another minute.

  4. 4

    Add water or broth and tomato sauce.

  5. 5

    Simmer on low 30 minutes to 1 hour.

  6. 6

    After 30 minutes, add potatoes, corn, and beans.

  7. 7

    Cook an additional 20–30 minutes until potatoes are tender.

  8. 8

    Serve with buttered cornbread.
