Creamy Mashed Potatoes

    Peel and cut the potatoes into evenly sized pieces.

    Bring a large pot of water to a simmer and add the potatoes.

  3. 3

    Bring to a boil and cook for 30 to 35 minutes until fork tender.

    When cooked through, a fork should easily slide into the potatoes with no resistance.

    Drain the potatoes in a large colander and return to the dry pot.

  6. 6

    Mash over low heat to allow steam to escape.

  7. 7

    Turn off the stove and add butter, cream cheese, half-and-half, and cream.

    Mash until smooth.

    Add salt and pepper to taste.

    Stir well and place in a medium baking dish.

    Top with butter and heat in a 350°F oven until warmed through.
