Yellow Squash Puffs

    Combine cooked squash and egg; stir well.

    Combine dry ingredients and add to squash mixture.

  3. 3

    Stir until blended.

  4. 4

    Drop by tablespoon into hot deep oil.

  5. 5

    Cook until golden brown.

  6. 6

    Drain well.

  7. 7

    Serve hot.

    Makes 2 dozen.

We use these as our cornbread with vegetables.
