    Place chuck roast in slow cooker.

    Sprinkle ranch dressing mix and au jus mix over roast.

  3. 3

    Place butter on top.

  4. 4

    Add pepperoncini peppers and optional juice.

  5. 5

    Cover and cook on low 8 hours or high 4–5 hours until tender.

  6. 6

    Shred with two forks and mix with juices before serving.
