    Cook onion, celery, and peppers in bacon drippings.

    Add tomatoes (do not drain), tomato paste, and seasonings.

  3. 3

    Simmer until thick, about 30 to 40 minutes.

    Add shrimp 15 minutes before serving.

  5. 5

    Serve with hot rice and a green salad.
