Pot Roast

    Cut slits into roast and season with creole, garlic, onion powder, and salt.

    Place in hot pan with a couple tablespoons of oil and sear on all sides over medium-high heat until browned.

    Remove roast.

    Add seasoning blend and chopped onion to pan and cook until translucent.

  5. 5

    Add beef broth, pot roast mix, and Au Jus mix.

  6. 6

    Stir.

    Return roast to pan.

    Cover and place in oven at 400 degrees.

    Cook until tender.

  10. 10

    After 2 hours, baste and add more seasoning if needed.

    Continue cooking until tender.

    Serve over rice or mashed potatoes.
