Angel Biscuits

Ingredients

    Mix yeast and warm water; set aside.

    Sift together flour, sugar, and soda.

  3. 3

    Cut Crisco into dry ingredients until very fine.

  4. 4

    Stir liquids into flour mixture.

  5. 5

    Chill dough.

  6. 6

    Roll thin, cut, dip into melted butter, and place in a well-greased pan.

    Butter each roll and press down firmly.

  8. 8

    Let rise approximately 30 minutes.

  9. 9

    Bake at 400° until light brown. (Can be frozen— thaw, let rise, and bake.)
